Let's face it, doing taxes isn't fun, and finding an accountant can be like speed-dating. We focused on creating a strong brand to gain trust and credibility in the competitive financial industry.

A well-designed logo, a professional website, and cohesive visual elements like color schemes and typography can help convey a professional and trustworthy image. We’re pretty confident Mangus Group now looks as good as they work.

Researching the industry is crucial before embarking on a brand project because it helps identify market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences, enabling a brand to make informed decisions and stand out effectively. Who are the local CPA’s and how can we quickly win prospective clients? What are their strengths and how can we raise the bar?

After our research, we made a list of what we’d like to incorporate into the brand. We checked it twice. We removed everything that might not work. Then we split it up into two equal parts, going full force with both concepts. Stretching the normalcy of what design would be for an accountant.

Another item in our checklist was to see how we can win someone’s trust online. What color pairing would not only look good but trusting? Something that leaves a gentle impression? A simple website also has a goal of not looking good, but how can we funnel customers to reach out to the client?
